Susanne Benz

Postdoctoral Fellow, GPS

Susanne Benz is a traditionally trained Physicist currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Global Policy and Strategy, UC San Diego as a part of the Big Pixel Initiative. She completed her Ph.D. on the Human Impact on Groundwater Temperatures in December 2016 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. Her interdisciplinary work combines climate science, geography, computer science, economics, hydrogeology and environmental science. Her main research interest is the interplay between humanity and nature in an urbanizing world.
